Saturday and Sunday............

Saturday was a bit of a recovery day. I planned on taking things easy, just a little gentle shopping in the afternoon. Cag didn't fancy doing very much, so we were both happy.

Sunday, what a beautiful day. Temp gauge in the car showed -2c first thing. The sun was soon shining, the sky so blue, and it stayed that way all day. More please!

Our usual trip to the Market this afternoon, for a bite to eat, and buy some food for the bird table. Meal worms (not for us), dried, not wriggly ones. Robin will sell their souls for them and will even eat out of your hand with a little tempting.

Phoned our daughter when we returned home. Told her I had a settlement figure on my Mother's estate and asked her to come and see us in a week or so. It will give her time to think about what she wants to do with her share, and I need a few extra days to finalise a few things regarding our situation. I'll be so glad to draw a final line under things.

Saw this one today. It's one for the note book.........
Denial is not a river in Egypt. It's an effin ocean......... and we're all drowning in it!
